You know what? A journey with God is certainly worthwhile, but that doesn’t mean that it will be easy. The thirty lessons within this devotional guidebook were released during one of the most difficult times in my life. In the book of 2 Corinthians in the bible, the Apostle Paul said that God told him that His strength is made perfect in weakness. I know first hand that God is able to exchange His strength for our weakness.

BUSY BUSY BUSY
Spend More Quality Time With God Every Day
Nowadays, we are all so busy, but those who love God and want to continue to grow in grace and faith, know that they have to stay close to Him and maintain a healthy intimate relationship. Not only do they know that they need to spend quality time with God every day, but they long to do so. They sometimes don’t even know what they are longing for.
God is always reaching out to us, drawing us in to more intimacy with Him. The problem is, with their busy schedules, too many don’t schedule time to spend with God. But it’s necessary. Just as we must value and cultivate our natural relationships, we must do the same with Him.

DAY 4 Excerpt
BY HIS WORD (Not entire)
“Every day we spend our time thinking on so many different things. Very often, too much time is spent on things we should give to God, and move on. The peace of God rests in our lives when we refuse to get caught up, meditating on the circumstances, situations, ideas, or whatever, that turns our thoughts and heart away from the Word of God. God’s word is life to us and it should not depart from our mouths. This means that it should ever be proceeding from our lips.”
Isaiah 59:21 says, “And this is my covenant with them, says the Lord. My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
NOTE: This is just a snippet of Day 4. Every devotional also includes a writing component with questions, for you to express your thoughts, consider, and process.
Join me, the author, for thirty days of going deeper into the material. I’m prepared to share with you much more than is within the pages of the book. Every day you can not only read the daily devotionals and complete the written work, but you’ll also be able to watch a video that will give you greater insight and help you gain, regain, or maintain the courage, strength, and boldness to walk with God through every situation.
As I said before, when I wrote the daily lessons of this devotional I was going through one of the toughest times in my life. I had been dealing with a lot of stress, a family member that was very dear to my heart passed away, and on top of that I had begun having panic attacks. I had never been in this place before. I had never been in a position where I had to live by faith while my body and mind seemed to be fighting against me.
Sure, I had had plenty of tests and trials that I had overcome, but not one like this that accosted me so severely both physically and mentally. It was obvious to me that I was not going to fight the good fight of faith in this situation in my own strength. So what did I do? I did what I had learned to do over walking with God for so many years. I leaned into God and His word. I have said many times in my life, that if it wasn’t for God and His word I would have lost my mind a long time ago. Why would I say something like that? I say it because it’s the truth. I say it because the pain that I have experienced has been so deep that nothing could keep me sane, but God and His word.
Continue is the product, the fruit, of abiding in the True Vine. In my weakness His power was made perfect and the truth of His word poured from me as a wellspring.
