BUY YOUR BOOK: Now here’s the thing, you don’t have to buy the book to be a part of the group. There will be a wealth of information in the videos that you will be able to meditate on, implement, and grow from. What’s most important, is that you grow in grace and grow in faith. That being said, if you can get the book, get it. You’ll get a lot from the videos but the videos won’t cover everything that’s in the book. I’ll touch on some things, I’ll expound, but for you to get all of the wealth, you should do both.
JOIN THE DEVOTIONAL GROUP: Joining the devotional group will get you access to 30 faith-filled, Spirit led videos that will lead you closer to God through Christ. I’ll walk through every day the Continue Devotional Guidebook with you, sharing from my own experiences, delving deeper into the material, encouraging you, and maybe even challenging you at times to draw closer to God, and walk strong.

WHY, CONTINUE?
When I wrote the daily lessons of this devotional I was going through one of the toughest times in my life. I had been dealing with a lot of stress, a family member that was very dear to my heart passed away, and on top of that I had begun having panic attacks. I had never been in this place before. I had never been in a position where I had to live by faith while my body and mind seemed to be fighting against me.
Sure, I had had plenty of tests and trials that I had overcome, but not one like this that accosted me so severely both physically and mentally. It was obvious to me that I was not going to fight the good fight of faith in this situation in my own strength. So what did I do? I did what I had learned to do over walking with God for so many years. I leaned into God and His word. I have said many times in my life, that if it wasn’t for God and His word I would have lost my mind a long time ago. Why would I say something like that? I say it because it’s the truth. I say it because the pain that I have experienced has been so deep that nothing could keep me sane, but God and His word.
Continue is the product, the fruit, of abiding in the True Vine. The Apostle Paul said it this way in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “But he said to me, “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” In my weakness His power was made perfect and the truth of His word poured from me as a wellspring. While I was going through, He was with me, as He always is.
Toyea Hawkins is an author, speaker, and pastor, who has been in ministry for over twenty years.
